I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Eindhoven University of Technology, in the Netherlands. From 2019-2022, I am working on a research project entitled the Artificial Ethicists, funded by an NWO Veni grant. I am a research fellow in the Ethics of Socially Disruptive Technologies (ESDiT) research consortium.

I completed my PhD in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. Before that, I studied history and biology as an undergraduate at Brown University. During 2018-2019, I was a Research Fellow at the Digital Life Initiative at Cornell Tech.

My current research interests lie primarily in moral epistemology, moral psychology, and applied ethics. Within applied ethics, my main interests are in data ethics and ethical AI.
